Portable Keyboard Hub?

@Reed71, welcome back to the forum.

When you bought the computer you had a choice of a wired USB keyboard and mouse or a wireless USB keyboard and mouse.  Which one did you choose?  Either way, you have four USB ports in the Back I/O ports.  You can use any of them for the keyboard.  If they are all being used, you may have to add an internal USB adapter card.  The card in the link has two external USB 3.0 ports and two internal USB 3.0 ports.  This will give you a lot of speed for other USB devices.

Portable Keyboard Hub?

Thank you for the additional information, @Reed71.

I have read the specs of your Razer keyboard.  There is no reason why it shouldn't work with your computer.  It should connect to any of the USB ports on the computer.

You should make certain that you are trying to connect it properly.  Here is a picture of a USB connector like the one on your keyboard:

The port on your computer will have piece of plastic like the white piece in the picture.  The space above the white piece should be placed over the black piece.  Then, you should be able to push it into the slot.

You should open the Tab titled "Specifications.  There are the instructions for the keyboard once you get it connected:

Read the section titled "System Requirements" to assure that you are installing it properly.  It appears from what I have read to be two USB cables on the Razer; one for the keyboard and one to power it.

I can't imagine why you can't get the USB connectors to work, unless they are damaged.  They should connect easily, otherwise.  I suggest contacting Razer to see if they can help you:

How can I contact Razer?

https://gyazo.com/195ca9b7cf16a1a4a06a9689d758b970, as you can see there are some pins? The keyboard was usable even when the pins were there.

@Reed71, I am sorry, but I can't see the connector well enough to tell what it is.  I would appreciate a better picture of it.

Here is a chart of the different USB connectors.  Please read the chart and let me know which is yours.
