Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Some of the ports at the back of my PC are missaligned with the case, can I open up the PC myself and try to fix the problem? or would that void the warrenty? Should I send it back to HP to fix instead?

The HP 550-242na is circa Jan 2016.  Just when did you get this unit?

Warranty is only 1 year.

If you have the original receipt, that date is your warranty date start, as you realized. Contact HP. Call them at 1-800-HP INVENT, wait on the line 40-50 sec and it should answer. Please let me know if the # worked, and how long it really took. Be advised the number now has linited times of operation.
