Processor Upgrade for HP a6720y model !

Hey,

I  just want to upgrade my processcor from 2.2GHz to higher around 3.00 GHz.

But i dont know which processcor which i can use to upgrade.

Is there anybody know which processor i can use to upgrade my processor ?

Phenom-9550 (A) 2.2 GHz (95W)
  • 3600 MHz HyperTransport 3.0
  • Socket AM2+
Chipset
GeForce 9100
Motherboard

Your motherboard will support these processor models.  Be sure you have the latest bios before you upgrade.

 

If you are after gaming performance then get a bigger video card and a bigger power supply most likely.  ATI and NVIDIA performance specifications.

How do I check that I have a lasted BIOS verison ?

and can you give me that BIOS list updates or something similar to that ?

When you boot up, look for the bios level on the bottom of the HP blue screen.  Verson 5.21 is posted as the latest version for your PC.  Look here.
