Re: HP Pavilion Slimline 400 Desktop PC RAM upgrade

Hello,

  I purchased RAM to upgrade my HP Pavilion Slimline 400 Desktop PC.  I've installed additional RAM in a Dell PC I used to own with no problem.  This will be my first attempt at an hp.  After watching videos online,  I am getting confused.  One video shows the RAM just inside the side panel.  Another states that I will need to remove the optical drive first.  Does anyone know of a good video on how to get to the RAM to get this accomplished?  Thanks, Alan

@alant1,

Welcome back.  Remove the side panel, and as the video shows, you may have to slide the DVD/CD drive to access the RAM slots.  Slimlines are very compact.
