Re: Meaning of model number letter designations

Hello, does anybody know what these designations mean in thin clients? For example: H1Y42AA#ABA.

Re: Meaning of model number letter designations

the #ABA afterwards is for the Localization like German Version, etc.
not sure about the rest but you can look it up in the HP Product Bulletin Software which can be downloaded freely but in General it's better to know what model it is like a t610, etc.

Re: Meaning of model number letter designations

Hi

go to www.hp.com, in the top right hand corner enter into the search field what you're looking for, and it will send you to

http://www8.hp.com/us/en/hp-search/search-results.html?cc=us&lang=en&charset=utf-8&qt=H1Y42AA&search=

Which = T610 in USA Version

Means H1Y42AA is the Product Number, ABA is the language code, as Robert says, the German/Austrian language code would be ABD
