Replace front i/o ports on HP Pavilion p6687c Desktop PC

My front USB ports broke, like the black piece literally came out. I need more USB ports. Therefore, does anyone know which part I should purchase to replace them.

This is my computers setup:

Can I puchase this one and just remove the extra mic and headphone ports?

yes you can replace it but not with the one you just mentioned from best buy, this one is used with PCI slot and placed on the back on you case, even though this one is not compatible with your motherboard.

I recommend you ask someone who know how to replace it for you

that is what you should look for

If you need for something similar to the one from best buy which can install on you mobo, you should look for this

Re: Replace front i/o ports on HP Pavilion p6687c Desktop PC

AOG caught your error. Your computer does not have PCI slots. It has (1) PCI-Ex16, and (3) PCI-Ex1 slots. This card will add 4 USB2.0 slots, simple install inside your case.

The front USB/audio/headphone is a module, as expressed by AOG's link. It is not a card.
