We have some HP Elite 7300-system at our office. Thing is, the bearings of the pre-installed graphics card (NVidia Geforce GT530) are dying. We tried to replace this card with two other cards. A Quadro K420 and a Geforce GT630.
When installed, the system would not start by both cards. I only get a blue screen with the HP logo. Ofcourse I deleted the old drivers first, but it didn't change the boot status. Then I thought it could be the BIOS, since this is an 'old' BIOS and maybe the other cards would only work with UEFI enabled. Looking for BIOS updates, but could not find one. It looks like there are no BIOS updates for a Elite 7300.
Now I would like to know which other graphic cards will work in these systems. To replace with an original GT530 from HP we have to pay over €400,-. A new card would be cheaper, if it has the same specifications.
Does anyone of you know a card what will fit.
Thank you for looking into my question,
