(Resolved) EliteDesk 800 G2 mini How to restore to NVMe with Windows 7 installation media?

EliteDesk 800 G2 mini
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I just purchased an EliteDesk 800 G2 mini, with two original Hp CDs with this unit: HP Windows 7 Pro SP1 and HP Driver Recovery DVD.

With Samsung 950 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD installed, how to install/restore Windows 7 to the NVMe SSD?

I have tried different methods and settings, but failed.

What is the correct settings to install/restore Windows 7 to NVMe SSD as boot disk?

Boot option: UEFI and Legacy, enable both of them all only UEFI?

Option ROM Launch Policy: All Legacy, or All UEFI or All UEFI Except Video?

Is there any other settings should be changed?

Or it is completed not possible to install/restore Windows 7 to NMVe as bootable drive?

With "factory default" settings and the HP Windows 7 CD, the 1st installation stage completed but then stop at the [HP] logo screen, just showing the bios version: N21 Ver. 02.05 11/11/2015, Press the ESC key for Startup Menu.

Need to get the Bios to see the disk first, or you will go to install and it will show no-disks. I think this is a result of the uefi  secure boot. You may need to go into the bios (F10), 'Advanced', 'secure boot configuration', set "clear secure boot keys" - save & reboot.

If it still does not see the disk, revert to legacy boot.... go into the Bios (F10), 'Advanced', 'secure boot configuration', enable "legacy support enable" - save & reboot. Go back into the Bios (F10), Boot Options: disable 'UEFI boot order' and enable / configure 'Legacy Boot order' - save & reboot and you should be good to go.

Issue resolved:

The most important thing is set Option ROM Launch Policy = All UEFI Except Video, as it is the key to run Windows 7 in UEFI mode.

Then, in Boot option only enable UEFI, and disable legacy boot.

With above settings, the Windows 7 installation completed smoothly with the original HP OEM Windows 7 CD, apply drivers with the HP Drivers CD.
