Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

(Related to earlier Q, Re: ATI Radeon 3200 Graphics and Windows 10 not supporting it)... I am thinking I would like to go back to Windows 7 from my current OS 10 (Version 1067, 64bit). Reason being is that 10 is no longer supporting my 3200 graphics chip and my HDMI port is of no use any longer. Also any video I watch is constantly scrammbled because my graphics and 10 can't handle HD. My question(s): Can I return to Win 7 ? Is it fairly simple ? Will it solve my ATI Graphics problem ?

Unfortunately, the Win10 Upgrade is knows to corrup the HP Recovery information, such that now, you are unlikely to be able to reset your PC back to Win7.

Ordinarily, I would recommend using HP Recovery Media to restore your PC to its original condition. That would erase the entire drive, format the drive, and install the OS, the drivers, and the HP utilities.

Unfortunately, HP no longer stocks the recovery media for the older Win7 PC.

You can try contacting HP Customer Support directly, using the links below, to see if you can order if from them:

If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!

If you have trouble finding a phone number, then try: 1 (800) 474-6836

If HP no longer provides Recovery Media for your model, a couple of other sites you should check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

Before using the media, read through this: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00006110

Good Luck

You might try:  http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&os=Windows%208%20-%2064

for the Windows 8 64-bit device-driver, to see if it works with Windows 10 64-bit.
