Setting thinclient BIOS password

T510
Linux

Hi,

I have a number of T510 & T620 ThinPro 5.2 & ThinPro 6.1 thin clients that we need to configure a BIOS setup password & also boot device order for.

I've tried using the hptc-bios-cfg tool but so far I'm only able to change the boot device order and NOT the BIOS setup password

Can this tool be used to setup a BIOS password and it so how ?

I have dumped the BIOS config using the hptc-bios-cfg -G /tmp/bios.txt command and then have edited the file to remove everything except the lines:-

Setup Password

     TEST

Boot Order

    Hard Disk

    USB

    LAN

and then used command hptc-BIOS-cfg -S /tmp/bios.txt however only the Boot order is changed

How do I change the BIOS setup password ?

Regards
