System Updates

Pavillion 23
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

My system states I have HP updates; however, when the updates are downloaded for install I receive a "updates failed" error message and the system terminates the downloads.  I've owned this system for over 2 years now and still haven't been able to perform system updates.  Please help!  Thanks.

System Updates

Corruption in the update service will cause your problem. Please read here, and try the suggestion.  For a more detailed article, read this.  Also, please report back your results.
