Touchsmart Hp Pavilion
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

I bought my notebook with windows 8 but the system itself got updated to windows 8 pro. Now the windows is not activated and the touch screen is not working.  No driver from windows 8 working not even calibrating the screen. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

@AnnChauhan

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.

I understand the Touch Screen issues for windows 8 pro,

I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:

What is the product number of your product? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

As far as I know, windows doesn't change it's version from win8 to win8 pro without the use of windows retail disc, did you check if someone else is using your PC & have made the changes for you?

If you can go back to win8 OEM, simply make use of the recovery manager (Tapping F11 during a restart) and revert back to win8 as HP doesn't support retail version of win8 pro.

In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned on this link: Click here

Please reply with the details for further assistance.

Eager to help!

Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,

It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.
