Touch Screen not working

HP Recommended
HP 19 all in one

I bought this desktop all in one computer off of craigslist last weekend. The man claimed he just doesnt know how to use a computer, and is similarly computer retarded like I am. So far, everything has worked wonders! then I found that there is a tablet mode. Who knew there would be touch screen or tablet mode on a desktop? That's just crazy!!! well, after putting it in tablet mode I tried to touch it and it didn't do anything. I then unplugged the keyboard and the mouse to see if that was the problem. Nope, still not the problem. I tried to find the answer in settings and was yet still denied..... Please help, Anybody? Thank You!!!!!

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Sorry, but we are not HP Tech Support; instead, this is just a community self-help forum staffed by vounteers. We have no way of diagnosing or repairing your PC from here.  All we can do is provide links to troubleshooting steps that HP has written, and links to HP drivers.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:  http://hp.dezide.com/ts/start.jsp?guide=DisplayissuesandTouchscreen.net&section=ccweb&as=true&SFS=td...

If those links don't diagnose or fix the problem, or those drivers don't work, your only recourse is to take the PC into an HP Service Center and have them look at it.

Here is a link with information on HP Service Centers: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00372730?jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0004

Good Luck
