Touch screen stopped working all together tried all troubshooting.

Hp pavilion 23 touchsmart
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I've had nothing but problems since my computer updated to windows 10, sadly I missed deadline to go back to windows 8.1. The touch screen barely worked after the update and has stopped working all together now. I've tried all trouble shooting suggested. After trouble shooting tried to call for support only to find out I'd have to pay because my computer is over 12 months old.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!  I understand that your touchscreen stopped working properly after upgrading to Windows 10.  I am happy to give you a hand with this.

 

Please post the full product number for your computer. See the following, if you need help with that information. HP Desktop PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number, Serial Number or Product Number?

 

Not knowing what you have already tried, take a look through this document: HP PCs - Troubleshooting Touch Screen Issues (Windows 10, 8)

Hi Malygris1,

My product number is F3E59AA # ABA

I have tried all steps listed on the link with no luck, my touch screen did work during the touch screen diagnostic test but failed. Only some of the screen responded to drag and drop test.

Thank you for the additional information. If it failed the diagnostic test, then I would recommend that you use the following http://www.hp.com/contacthp, fill out the form, create a case for your issue and then use the provided information to contact HP.
