I have a question that I hope I can find a solution on. I have the HP All in One PC 27-a010. I understand that HDMI port in the back is HDMI output and not input. Upon doing some research, an adapter does not yet exist that allows you to convert an HDMI output port into HDMI input. However, I have a few USB ports on the back of the computer. Here's my question: If I were to buy a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter, would my computer (since it's also a 1080p display) be able to allow me to connect any HDMI device to use on the screen, such as a Nintendo Switch or PlayStation 4?

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

I have used a similar adapter and those are designed to drive display devices, most commonly, flat panels.

You would actually have to try them out yourself to see if they would work with other equipment.

Good Luck
