Upgrade power supply for hp elite 8200 cmt

Windows 8.1

I'm trying to upgrade the psu to accommodate a Saphhire radeon r9 270x. It requires more than 320w.

I cant get a new one because its some weird connections from the PSU to the mother card that ''normal'' PSU doest have.

How can i use my new gpu without buying a new motherboard?

It would seem that you are not alone.  Take a look at THIS thread for a possible solution.  The FSP SLI and CrossFire Upgrade 450 Watt ATX Power Supply BOOSTER X5 seems to be out of production, however.

Leave it to the Brits to go it.  Here is an adapter for the 8000-8300 motherboards to a standard ATX PSU
