Upgrading HP Pavilion a6683w

Hi all. I just bought the HP Pavilion a6683w from WalMart at the after Thanksgiving sale with the mindset that I would spend a couple of $100 more on it to sup it up. Well, I just opened it today and I have noticed that I don't have the cables to hook up any of my old harddrives or burners from my sony vaio. Can anyone help me with what I will need to upgrade or any other advice. I'm trying to upgrade the video card, psu, add hard drive & dvd burner (to expansion slot) and quite possible a processor upgrade. Thanks in advance for anyone's help. God bless.
