Upgrading RAM

HP Recommended
HP Pavillion P7-1226s
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I still have the original RAM in my P7-1226s.  I need to upgrade to use some new software.  While I can do the upgrade myselft I have two questions.  What do I need to purchase?  How much RAM can I add?

@poppyw

16.0 GB maximum installable memory using

4GB Modules. Actual available memory that

can be used in Windows will be less.

240-pin DDR3-DIMM

PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) DDR3-SDRAM

Unbuffered, non-ECC (64-bit) DIMMs

1.5 V memory only

Look at page 15.
