Upgrading processor

HP 500-281
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I need to upgrade the processor from 1 core to at least dual core.  Can anyone please help?  I found a compatible processor on Amazon but don't know how to install it.  Lots of thanks.

You have to make certain that the TDP matches the one that you bought.
