WHAT IS WPA/WEP

HP Recommended
HP ENVY 4500
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm attempting to network my new ENVY 4500.  I'm being asked to enter my WPA/WEP; where do i locate this, and what is it???

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

 

WPA and WEP are different keys that must be provided to access the router network.

 

Those keys are set up when the router is configured.

 

You will have to check with whomever configured the router to obtain those keys -- we have no way of determining them for you.
