Hi

I have a problem with my Windows Server 2012 R2.
For some time in logs there is a lot of lines about:

WHEA-Logger ID 47

„Fixed hardware error has occurred”

Part: Memory

source of the error: Revised memory check

logs:

FRUText
ValidBits 0x0
ErrorStatus 0x0

Memtest shows no errors. How can I fix the issue. Should I replace the memory?

wrong company, HP SPLIT INTO TWO SEPERATE COMPANY'S many years ago

HP inc (this site) does not make/service servers you want HP enterprise   "  https://www.hpe.com/us/en/home.html  "

you appear to have either Failing ram module(S) or a defective motherboard

try replacing all ram (best course) or if possible or remove all ram but one stick and add back one by one till error reappears

note that  a specific ram bank is generally used if running one memory module

The issue of repeated memory errors of the 'WHEA - Event ID 47' type started appearing in (then) HP Proliant Servers as well as in HP Zx20 Workstations in 2012. Here is a link to an HPE advisory on the subject:

Ok, I will try replace all RAM.

Thank you.

have you read the previous posters HPE advisory where they cover this error and mention changing the "C" power state setting to turn off power savings in the bios

it's a very old advisory but may still apply in your case if changing the ram does not work
