Hi @CHET6464

Welcome to the HP Forums!

It is a great way to engage, post questions and find resolutions by working with specialists in the HP community.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are having issues with the Wi-Fi reception on your computer.

I’d love to help!

I would like to inform you that Wi-Fi signal strength depends on many factors. Please through the link below for more information.

Meanwhile, I recommend you to run a test on the wireless card to make sure that the wireless card is working fine. Follow the steps in the below link on how to run the test.

If the wireless card is fine, I recommend you to update the drivers for the wireless card. Here is how it is done.

·         Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.

·         Expand one of the categories to find the name of your device, then right-click (or tap and hold) it, and select Update Driver. For wireless cards, expand the Network adapters category, right click your wireless card and select Update Driver.

·         Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

Let me know how it goes and you have a good day ahead.

Take care!

Cheers!
