Product: HP Pavilion 500-164 PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

My hard drive on this computer has been really finicky for a while now, getting errors and such when I try to manipulate files, I've tried multiple methods of cleaning it except for reformatting which I'd rather not do as to not lose all the files I have on it so I'm about to buy a new hard drive for it, I looked up the exact hard drive that the PC comes with and its a rather steep price of almost 80$, I found a cheaper harddrive by the same manufacturer but I'm not sure if it's compatible with this PC, Just wanted to get some insight on this before I buy something I can't use
