Hey there! @300az, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand wireless card is missing from device manager on your PC.

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

Have you enabled wireless on your PC?

Please try the steps recommended below.

Open Device Manager, open the drop-down Network adapter.
Right-click Network adapters
Select Scan for hardware changes
If you can't see your Wireless adapter, go to step 11
If you can see it, right-click on the adapter
Select Uninstall ( this should only uninstall your driver software, not delete it)
Now right-click Network adapters again
Select Scan for hardware changes. This should re-detect your wireless adapter)
Once detected, restart you machine
Make sure your Wireless adapter in Network And Sharing Center is Enabled. Now try what you have to.
If you can't find you your Wireless adapter device, you may need to properly install a wireless adapter driver. You'll have to do it perfectly or have a service person do it for your machine.

Also, run a wireless diagnostics test on your PC and let me know the results.

Refer this article to know how to run system diagnostics on your PC.

Let me know how it goes!

Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂
