When I purchased the HP Workstation, the OS was Windows 7*. However, wifi was missing there. I recently upgraded it to Windows 10 Pro - with the CD provided by HP at the time of purchasing this product - with the expectation that wifi driver will be automatically downloaded in the system either by Windows Update or HP Support Assistant. Till now there is no update. Any help ? Which WLAN networking driver is best for the Z 238 series workstation ?

I checked the download support page for that PC. The only LAN driver listed is for the Intel LAN on Motherboard (LOM)

Have you checked in Device Manager to see if that is the LAN device?

Many thanks for the help and guidance. Since I am not an expert in computer, I also appreciate for the link provided. However, the download - Intel Network Connections Drivers Release 21.1 for Windows 10 64-bit 0 does not help me because it says it has some issues with Windows 10. I have checked my computer system with HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) test which says wireless driver is missing. In that case what I have to do ? USB wireless adaptor is the answer ? Any other remedy ? Appreciate further guidance.

Well, if that does not seem to install, you could let Device Manager try to find it. Do you know how to do that?
Lets try that before using a USB adapter.

Many thanks for your quick response.
I don't know how to do that. Please teach and guide me.
By the way, I did full system components check by HP diagnostic tool by going to Start Menu and thereafter pressing F2. All the checks successfully passed except one - Wireless Module about which it mentioned Not Installed. I understand from one of my friends that Z 238 HP Workstations do not have WiFi card installed. So don't go after purchasing a compatible WLAN card for your PC. Instead try some USB wireless adapter. He loaned me temporarily for my use one such item, namely Tends 150 M Wireless Adapter - Model W311M1 which he purchased from Amazon India. Shall I try this ?
Thanks again for giving much of your time in resolving my case. Regards.

I see I might have made a mistake. The driver I posted was for a LAN - which is Ethernet, not WiFi. So sorry.
It will not hurt if you wish to try the wireless adapter, assuming it has Windows 10 drivers, which the website says is supported.
