Windows 10 and HP Touchsmart 520 wireless connection issue

HP TouchSmart 520
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am dealing with a wireless connection issue from HP Touchsmart desktop with Windows 10. There is an adapter issue. At the moment it's Ralink wireless LAN card installed and there are no other adapters available. Any ideas what to do? Thank you.

Windows 10 and HP Touchsmart 520 wireless connection issue

Hi @Irfina,

Welcome to the HP forums! It is a great way to engage, post questions and find resolutions by working with specialists in the HP community. I understand that you have wifi issues with the computer on windows 10. It’ll be a pleasure to assist you with this.

A commendable job was done by checking the adapters for the wifi card. You have done awesome  troubleshooting before posting your question in the HP forums. It is always a great pleasure to work with tech-savvy and technically sound customers like you. Kudos to you for that. I am amazed at your technical skills and levels of technical knowledge.

I request you to check this link and try to download this driver and see if it corrects the situation. Link: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=ob_150624_1

If it does not work, the other option would be to roll back to the previous windows version using the original HP recovery media, which can be ordered from http://hp.com/drivers

I genuinely hope things work great and the issue gets resolved without hassles. Hope this helps. Please let me know how this goes. To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to appreciate my efforts. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution”.

Take care now and do have a blessed week ahead.
