Hi Team,

I have a software that is working on Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard 64 bit, my device is HP Compaq Elite 8300.

Please advice if it is applicable to install Win 2012 and if there is any network driver for the same.

Apprecite your early feedback and manythanks in advance.

Greetings,

Mahmoud

Try an "experiment" -- it will take about 60 minutes.

Remove the current disk-drive from your computer.

Connect a "spare" disk-drive.

Try to install Windows.

Once installed, open "Device Manager", and see if there any devices that are "flagged", such as the network adapter.

You may remove the "spare" disk-drive, and reconnect your original disk-drive, to restore your computer to its previous condition.

Hi:

HP only supports their server products for Windows Server operating systems.

If you have installed Windows Server 2012 R2 on your 8300 Elite, you can try the Windows Server 2012 R2 ethernet driver directly from Intel...

For any other devices, try the W8.1 drivers from the 8300 Elite support page.
