Hi:

Some of the Pro 6305's came with W7 and some came with W8 with downgrade rights to W7 from the factory.

Does your PC have a W7 product key on the PC's case?

If so, you can make your own plain W7 installation media to reinstall W7.

This site claims to have genuine, unadulterated W7 ISO files for download...

https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-microsoft-windows-iso-download-tool

Click on the link labeled Windows ISO Downloader.exe

You can use either the:

Win 7 Pro SP1 or the (Retail version, but the  OEM key on your PC's case will work with it)

Win 7 Pro SP1 COEM (This version would be for what HP would have used--System Builder)

N is for European Union (EU) countries.

K is for South Korean markets.

Then you can use this tool to transfer the file to a 4 GB USB flash drive or a DVD.

If your PC does not have a W7 product key sticker on the case, you will have to contact HP technical support for the country you live in, and order a set of W7 recovery disks for your PC.

Hi Orlando,

There are multiple reasons which cause this error. I have read some fixes, and you can implement those fixes to resolve this issue:

Solution 1: You have to remove any hardware that you have recently installed or reboot.

Solution 2: You have to make sure that the hard drive which you are using is detected by your system and is booting from it

Solution 3: You can perform a System Restore

Solution 4: Startup Repair is also one of the solutions to this problem

If any of these will not work, then the final resort is

Solution 5: You have to reinstall Windows altogether.

To read more about this, you can go through the following links:

These links will better explain you the solution.

Cheers!!!
