access panel replacement key workstation

Hi @ckct-online,

Key alone is not available, Whole access panel need to be change. And the replacement might be on chargeable basis.

For replacement of the same, you may contact hp Technical Support for further proceedings.

access panel replacement key workstation

I've got some good news and some bad news for you:

The bad news is that the key you seek is not as good security as you might wish..... they all are stamped with "301" from the xw6400/xw8400/xw6600/xw8400 and also including the Z600 I'm working on right now.  So, I'd bet your Z800 will be locked/unlocked by any of those keys also.  I just checked with a key from a xw6400.... works on my Z600 just fine.

The good news is that a spare should be easy to find.  There usually are two, unused, attached by a split ring to the back of any of those workstations I've listed.

🙂
