I see from the post that you are having issues with external speakers not working on your HP Pavilion all-in-one PC. Don't worry I'll try my best to help you with this,
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Have you tried to connect a headphone and check if that works?
Did you try to update the drivers?
Is this speaker USB powered speakers or does it connect to the wall outlet?
Does the speaker need a subwoofer port or does it have a normal 3.5mm jack?
In the meantime, let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the PC with all the cables disconnected.
Let's start off by updating the audio drivers - Press the Windows Key + X - Click on Device Manager - Click on the arrow next to Sound, video, and game controllers - Right Click on the device and then click on update the audio drivers and check if that helps.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to disable equalizer if turned on -
Right click the sound icon in the system tray then click Playback Devices.
Select your output device (usually Speakers) then click Properties.
Click the Enhancements tab and deactivate Loudness Equalization.
If you have any third party software for the equalizer, I would suggest you remove it and check if that helps.
Please respond to this post with the details and the results of the troubleshooting for further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.
