Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

an HP suggestion came up on my computer, which is a custom made order from HP, saying that i needed to upload a new bios. I clicked on the appropriate boxes to get it going  but now the uploading of this bios will not stop and i have been unable with anything i have thought of to get it to stop so that i could get back into my system. i have tried inserting a recovery usb drive and pressing ESC over and over but this doesn't help or stop the bios upload from continuously running.  none of the F9 - F-12 keys help at all either.  i am wondering why the HP Support Assistant would have sent me a big yellow warning sign and directed me to upload this if it was going to ruin my desktop!
