can I install a Nvidia GEForce 740 video card in my Z400 worksation?

Z400 workstation / SM088UC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My Nvidia Quadro 2000 suddenly just stopped working.  What will I have to do to get a GEforce740 to work in my Z400?

Please help!

@Blinky2, welcome to the forum.

The first thing that you have to determine is, does the motherboard have UEFI instead of a standard BIOS.  This is required for the GTX 740.  Also, you have to check the wattage required to run the card properly and that the power supply unit has this amount.  You can measure the space where the card is to be installed to see if it will fit.

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the computer.  On Page 20 is the information on the PSU.  It will also contain the information on all of the other system's components.
