cant change bios options

hp envy 700 210 deshtop
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

 I have found a z drive on my computer I didn't put there I want to format my harddrive and reinstall windows, but I can't enter any of my bios options they are locked out

Exodus777, welcome to the forum.

 

HP limits the amount of BIOS settings that can be changed.  You can use the Recovery media that you made to Reset the computer.  Also, you could use the Disk Management to extend the partition next to Z.
