@besen, welcome to the forum.

HP doesn't recommend downgrading from win 10 to win 7 because many of the components in a Win 10 computer may not be compatible with Win 10.  If you want to continue, you will need to disable "Secure Boot" and maybe enable "Legacy Support" in the "BIOS Secure Boot cofiguration" on the settings page.

Hi, @besen :

Since I have no idea what errors you are encountering, I can only give you some general info...

Looking at the hardware specs, your PC should be able to run W7 64 bit just fine, and there is a full set of W7 drivers for your PC, so HP supports the operating system downgrade.

How are you installing W7?  BY USB installation flash drive or by a DVD?

If you are using a USB installation flash drive, you need to boot it from one of the PC's USB 2 ports.

You have to clean install W7.  You cannot 'downgrade' W10 to W7, like you can upgrade from W7 to W10 by keeping your program files and settings.

Have you made the required changes in the BIOS to install W7?

If not, you need to.

Please read this guide for the settings you need to change (Enable Legacy Mode/Disable Secure Boot).

W7 is not compatible with secure boot.

And make your set of W10 recovery media if you have not done so already, before attempting to install W7.
