Before you send it back, I found this and it worked I havent had the issue in about 2 weeks now.

I am still having this problem after updating Nvidea drivers.  It happens when I least expect it, and  I wish I could get an update on this problem

If you are using IE 8 64 bit then don't use Adobe Flash Player.  Use Adobe Flash Player with IE 8 32 bit.

HEY GUYS I ALSO HAVE GT 220 NVIDIA I AM FACING THE SAME PROBLEM THAT KERNAL DRIVER VERSION STOPPED RESPONDING AND RECOVERED ..... HELP ME TOO

Hi,

 

Trying updating the driver from the NVIDIA web site.

 

If the above doesn't work then open up the PC and clean out the dust.  Use a can of compress air to blow out the dust from the card fan and while you are doing that clean the dust from the CPU heat sink.

 

Otherwise consider a new video card.
