Hi,

Try Newegg or Tiger Direct for firewire cards.  Check with the card manufacturer for drivers.

The mothrboard in your PC is PCI version 2 so check with firewire card manufacturer and make sure that the firewire card is certified to work in a PCI version 2 slot.

I recently did this on an HP Envy 700.  I plugged it into the  PCI Express x1 (Gen 2.0) slot.

I ended up getting two cards, the first one a Rosewill RC-504 needed an external power cable for 12volts and I would have needed an adapter to attach it to a spare power supply connector.  The Rosewill card has a molex power connector instead of the newer card edge types.  I sent it back and got an IOCREST PCI Express IEEE 1294A CARD that gets its 12V directly from the PCI card slot and doesn't need an extra power connection.  It works well.

So also be careful to see if the card needs external power or not.
