Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I just bought my HP ENVY 7644 and took it to work as we do not have WIFI at home. I needed to be online to

set it up.

There was NO cable to connect the printer to the Macintosh.

There was NO help in the little manual I got with the printer and all I could find online was for phones (which

I don't have) and PCs. Nothing for the Mac.

So is there any way I can use this printer at home with NO WIFI and just a cable (which I didn't get?)

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

I don't use Macs, but I believe that a standard USB cable will work to connect your Mac to the printer.

You can get the Apple software to install that printer from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-7640-e-all-in-one-printer-series/6617267/mo...

Select the Mac OS and then the version you are running.

Good Luck
