missing or corrupted files -

Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I cannot open some files - one that icon have turned orange.  Get this message when I try:  "This file is unable to run because of missing or corrupted files.  Contact your c0omputer manufacturer."

Can I fix this and how?

missing or corrupted files -

Each icon is associated with the program that opens it, your file association seems to have gotten corrupted. Here is a link that describes how to associate a file with a program.
