I have a monitor, HP Compaq LA2206x, and I have installed all the drivers and the HP display assistant. My issue is nothing is working in my attemps to rotate the screen.
I have tried doing it from the control pannel but do not have a display orientation option.
I have tried doing it from the HP display assistant but it doesn't respond when I click 90 degree rotate or any rotation orientation button.

MacKattack, welcome to the forum.
You should try pressing Ctrl + Alt and any of the Arrow keys. This works well on my Notebook.
