new graphic card Geforce gtx 750 ti failing on Hp pavilion H8-1010be

Hello

So i Got a new gigabyte GV-N75TOC graphic card for my Hp pavilion h8 1010-be. When I boot it up i get the intro blue screen and that's it. i hear a single beep, another after a while and then a series of short beeps and a black screen. The fans are running of my graphic card, I did plug it in. When i reboot with old graphic card all works, so didn't pull anything out by accident. The power is also higher on my pc then needed for the graphic card so this should be fine. I did try uninstalling current graphic card drivers first but this didn't help.  It actualy sounds exactly like this http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware/Problem-installing-a-new-Video-Card-on-HP-Pavilion-HPE...
I was wondering if you could provide me with anymore direct help then talk to producer, which i have sent a tickit to aswell.

greeting

Bosaap

Hi,

You probably are using the MSI 750 that is not compatible with your PC.

Try this model MIS NVIDIA 750 and then review this thread.

That'd be gr8 because the shop i bought this one also sells that one, but my pc only has 460 watt power supply according to hp site. and according to the specs off that card it requires 500 watt. Would it not work or just not run "optimal"?

Hi,

The MSI card that I referenced doesn't specify a 500 watt power supply.   You can check that information and requirement on the MSI manufacturer's web site.  The HP 460 watt PSU does have a PCI-E 6 pin connector.
