Only put on updates that came through HP. There was one for the realtex rtl8723bE 802.11 BGN WIFI ADAPTER.

As you know, the realtex rtl8723bE 802.11 BGN WIFI ADAPTER is not a 5GHz driver.

There are about 160 models in this category, about a third of which are the "b0xxx" model:

"HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-b0" (160)

  • Assuming that your computer provides support for 5GH, the router must be set up to provide the 5GH to your network -- sometimes you need a separate SSID name for each band (example: SSID1 for 2.4 GHZ and SSID2 for 5GHz).

  • Select your system from the list > Open the Home Page > open Product Information > check the Specifications to ensure your system supports 5GHz

  • Check for installed network adapters (hardware components):

Open a command prompt window with Admin privileges:

Windows key + X + A

Type the following line and press "Enter" key to terminate the command:

WMIC Path Win32_NetworkAdapter Where "PhysicalAdapter=TRUE" Get Description

If the Adapter list includes the 5GHz adapter, open the Driver page look for the "AC" driver.

Hi,

Windows 10 won't change a wireless card which ONLY support 2.4Hz to 5GHz.
