omni 200 shutdown watching video

Omni 200
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an Omni 200 all in one. It shutsdown periodically. It seems to be when watching video, but not all video. Any suggestions? Could this be a java issue?

Tomcat1015, welcome to the forum.

This is normally a symptom of over-heating.  It would be good to find a diagnostic software that has a temperature reading.  Here is a Speedfan.  As soon as it shuts down you should boot and check the temps.

I have an Omni 200, and this happens to me quite frequently as well.  I did install a CPU temperature monitor, and indeed the temps to get very hot before it crashes.  I think it's clear that overheating is to blame - the question is, is there anything to do about it? Or is this a limitation of the all-in-one design.  Obviously watching cat videos online is the #1 use of my PC! 🙂

I would be better if you start your own thread.  This thread is over a year old and nobody will reply to it unless they were originally involved.
