p7-1380t i5-3450 win 7 64bit - added memory from 6 to 8gb, installed memory that is preset to standard 1333, but is cl 8 ddr3 12800 1600 crucial bullistic tactical 1.5v. can't find the setting in bios to get back to 1600mhz - the factory memory was running at 1600mhz.. the new memory is running @ 1333.

Is there a bios setting to get this back up to 1600? Or another solution?

Re: p7-1380t

Sorry, but there are no user settings available to adjust memory speed. Most HP BIOSes automatically set the speed based on the DIMM SPD.

Re: p7-1380t

Thanks, I didn't think I was missing it when looking - its not there right LOL.. The memory is no help then other then more of it. I do notice a diffference, its a little slower opening programs. Time to go to crucial and get factory stock 1600 at 11 cal 8g. Will save the high speed memory for another project I think - it will be slow by then - maybe I'll send it back now. LOL

Thanks for the reply!
