i helped set up my new office laptop but i some how managed to set up a power on password and a bios password so now everytime i start up the laptop i have to enter this password.   i know the password so that isnt the problem i just need to know how to disable this so i dont have to enter it everytime i turn it on

Hi,

You will need to enter Bios and disable the power on password. You will find it under the heading security.

how do i disable it ? do i just enter my old password then leave new password blank ? if so what do i press

Hi,

Yes leave the new password fields blanck and press enter. Press enter again and then press F10 to exit saving the changes.
