"Not Responding"

Ok, I really need help! This HP laptop is horrible! Skype doesn't work and Internet Explorer is usually  not responding, I am really sick of that! Everytime I go on YouTube, it's not responding, as well as Super Poke Pets, Neopets, Poptropica ( sites my little sister likes) Facebook, MySpace, etc. Any suggestions? I tried to download Adobe Flash Player and Java and it stopped the "Not Responding" issue for about 2 days and then it started again. HELP!!!!

Re: "Not Responding"

Do a virus scan. Download cookienator (it's a freebe) and clean house. One person had over 2,000 cookies.  Now do a disk drive clean up (right mouse click on your hard drive and choose properties then disk drive cleanup). Then do a hard drive defragmentation under tools for the hard drive.

What model laptop are you using, what operating system are you running and how much memory is installed?

Re: Skype

Hello. My Skype video will not come on when the video icon which is light green when it used to be dark green is clicked. It was working fine in the past. Also my hp desktop makes a humming noise after it's been on a while which goes away by moving the screen.

Thanks and have a great day.
