replacment cpu watercooler for 657398-003

is  there  any  known  replacement cpu watercooler  for  657398-003,  on  the  older hp pavilion  phoenix h9 computers? i personally own  a  h9-1170.  or  should i just  try my luck  with a used one on ebay?

As I understand you need information about the replacement CPU watercooler for 657398-003,

You may need to get the computer repaired via HP (the service would be free of charge if the computer is covered by the HP warranty).

If it's not covered, the best thing to do is to replace the part via the HP Parts Store,

i was  able  to  replace the cpu watercooler fan witha  red led  foxconn one that showed up online  from the hp number on alantech: 656329-001

and i was able  to  replace the system  fan and  heatsink as listed here from  alantech:  659335-001

however i  can't  seem  to  find  any new actual cpu watercoolers. i  can  find  used ones on  ebay, and  possibly new  ones  from  a  questionable  chinese  website  that is  shut  down  until the  end  of chinese new year.  they  show  listed  stock like  60 some  pieces.

i am  currently out of  warranty  since  hp  wouldn't  let  me  continue  my  shipping  and  repairs  warrenty after  4 years.

so if you are able  to hook me with new  cpu watercooler  if i can  pay for it and  replace it  myself;   or  help get  the ball  rolling  for me  to get it replaced at an authorised hp repair place, if  i can pay for it, i'd  be interested.

As you mentioned you replaced the water cooler fan and heat sink on your PC.

However, you need the new CPU watercooler for your PC.

I would suggest you to get in touch with HP authorized service providers and get the part replaced.

HP authorized service providers are: Best, wall mart and Costco.

can i  just  pay to have my computer sent  to the hp  repair  center and  have the 657398-003 replaced with  a  new  one without warranty?

As you mentioned that your unit is more than four year old, HP considers there product as obsolete after four years.

There will be no software or hardware support for the product.

So, you have to check with HP authorized service providers for service options.

i tried calling  2 of the  3 places and they were no help at all.  how do we  date the  used  cpu watercoolers. hopefully china  will come through  for the new ones.

i ordered some on ebay and  received them, and i was wondering how  to date them, there is a  long code of numbers on the bottom of them.

I am not aware of it,  HP replaces the heat sink as complete unit, so you have to contact vendor for more information.
