Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I lost my windows 7 paswood and cannot log into my computer. I tried to start in safe mode to add info in comand prompt window. When I get to the administrator command promt window in safe mode, I cannot add text to the window. Any help would be appreciated.

A few suggestions:

1. See: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04648973

2. Are you sure that you have "clicked" anywhere in the window, to move the "focus" into that window, so that you can type text?

3. If your computer supports the older style -- PS/2 -- keyboard, shutdown your computer, connect such a keyboard, and restart.  Some motherboards only have USB 3.0 ports, and running in "Safe Mode" may cause the device-drivers for those ports to *NOT* be loaded.
