Hello, @lucy_anne9 - Hope you are well 🙂

Thank you for your continued participation in the HP support forums! I’d like to be of your assistance!

I see that your screen is turning purple/pink on the edges of your HP Pavilion. To assist you better, I need to know the complete product number of your HP Pavilion. If unsure, please check http://hp.care/2nXaBx5

Alternatively, please perform a hard reset on your product to try and fix this issue. Here are the steps:

  • Turn off the computer.

  • Disconnect all connected devices from the computer except the mouse, and keyboard. This includes removing web cameras, USB devices, thumb drives, camera-type memory cards, and other displays.

  • Disconnect the display power cable, wait about 30 seconds, reconnect the cable and then turn on the display. This resets the electronics on the display.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Good luck 🙂
