Hi! @ergasilus, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand that you are getting 3 long and 4 short beeps from your PC.

Don't worry I will try to help you out.

I have checked the records and was unable to find any error with 3long and 4 short beeps on a PC.

However, I think you should be getting 3 long and 1 short beep on your PC.

Which indicates it could be an issue with the CPU.

Refer this article to know more about beep codes on HP desktop PCs.

Try updating the BIOS and chipset driver on your PC and check if it helps.

Please update BIOS using this link.

Also, update the chipset driver using this link.

Let me know if this helps!

Cheers! 🙂

How "new" ?

If it is "fresh out of the box", it is protected by HP's warranty, for between 90 days and 365 days.

Contact HP.  They will trouble-shoot over the telephone.

If they cannot fix it, they will repair or replace it.

@ergasilus, Thanks for your response.

Thanks for trying out the steps.

I think it is a hardware issue with your PC. I would suggest you contact HP and get your PC serviced.

Link to contact HP.

Hope this helps!

Have a beautiful day ahead! 🙂
