Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you have an HP Touchscreen PC and there seem to be phantom touches on the screen. When you turn off the  human touch interface it works fine until the next restart. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.

I would like to know the following information to assist you better:

  • The exact model no. of your HP PC. I could not locate the details using the model no. you mentioned. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l
  • Any changes that took place to the computer after which this issue may have started?
  • Do the phantom touches appear while in Windows also?

Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the troubleshooting steps using the HP step by step troubleshooter guide: http://hp.care/2khBrhG

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Please let me know how it goes. Cheers! 🙂
